Legal notice — Occupations Code 1152
KeepTheCut sells a document packet. We are not a registered property tax consultant under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1152. We do not file protests, attend informal conferences or ARB hearings, take a power of attorney or Form 50-162 appointment of agent, advise you on whether to protest a specific account, represent you, negotiate with an appraisal district, or guarantee any reduction. You are the property owner (or the person the law already allows to protest). You decide whether to file, what opinion of value to put on Form 50-132, and what to say at any hearing. Suggested figures in a packet are comparable-based worksheets for you to consider — not a professional opinion of value and not an appraisal. Texas is a non-disclosure sales-price state. We do not invent a market value for your home. County appraisal districts, not KeepTheCut, set the values that appear on notices and bills.
